Saitama Premier Brass (SPB) established 2002, April as a “Premier”in Saitama (Part of the Greater Tokyo Area),Japan.
SPB has entertained local audiences. The object of the Band is to advance the education of general public in the art of
British Brass Band music through the provision of public concerts and training in brass music skills.
The band's playing members are all amteur musicians,playing brass instruments ranging from Cornets to Basses,
as well as full complement of percussion instruments.
We have got lesson from an international musician positively,and are enjoying playing together.

We joined Japan Brass Band Festival 2002, and started performance activity. We had a First Concert April 2003,and two concert every year.
Our MD is Makoto Sekiya,since SPB established.
We has won the first Japan National Brass Band contest ‘The Brass Cruise Brass Band Championships 2005’
and got Yokohama Prefecture Governor Award.
We has released eight CDs which were recorded with Music Eight Inc. We has been held twice a year from the Brass Band workshop
for Primary school student in 2004, to foster a younger generation take over 2000 childrens and we have original Method of
"Warming up and dairy training for Brass Band Players" by Makoto Sekiya.
*"Saitama" is north side of Tokyo. "Koshigaya" has distance of about 13 miles from centre of Tokyo.
